Estate of former Thomaston Police Chief, Walt Alexander, who was also a close friend of Tim and Peter Chapulis'. This estate is a beautiful home full of treasures and Tim Chapulis is honored to be able to help the family auction the estate contents. Many treasures and discoveries to include beautiful Hitchcock furniture, including dining room table and 8 chairs, rockers, table and additional Hitchcock furniture. Gone with the Wind lamps, China, including Johann Haviland Bavaria, Bertson House, Ltd., Occupied Japan, and more, German steins, crystal, decanters, clock collection including Seth Thomas Grandfather clock, mantel clocks, etc. Nice, clean upholstery, artwork, leather recliner, beautiful patio wicker set, wrought iron outdoor set and additional outdoor furniture. French Provincial bedroom set, Sterling House bedroom set including complete canopy 4 poster bed, matching bureaus and nightstand, estate jewelry and watches, Freemason Sphinx fez hats with cases, oak carved Northwind secretary desk, Winthrop secretary desk, child's roll top desk, attic finds, vinyl records, marble top table, candle stand with inlay, hand hooked rugs. Walt Alexander was also a WWII veteran who served in Iwo Jima and Occupied Japan after the war (c. 1946), he brought back items such as an antique ship's compass and 3 hand carved wooden keepsake boxes from Occupied Japan. Baseball card collection, antique music box, ceder closet, additional bed frames, including early folding bed, antique tools, Dewalt Radio Arm saw with all books, antique twisted wood ox whips and ox yokes, original steam gauge from home, antique shoe shine box, lederhosen, lockers from Thomaston High school (c. 1940s, 1950s), 2 cabinets from George Ryan's garage in Thomaston, CT filled with contents, motorized wheel chairs and handicapped power lift for van. Kitchen cabinet contents, closets, attic, garage, tool shed contents! Many discoveries still being found and there will be many discoveries night of auction. This will be a great opportunity for our clients! Clean, bright, and right describes the contents of this estate - don't miss this one! Everything must go! On Site Auction buyer's premium will be 20% for Bid, Buy, Pay and Take Away the same day. Entire bill must be paid the night of auction for 20% Buyer's Premium! If we have to hold items, wait for checks to clear, or incur additional time and costs, then the buyer's premium will be 25%.

The auction will be held in a walk around fashion. Bidding will be from area to area, following the auctioneer, Tim Chapulis. This is a very efficient manner that benefits both buyers and sellers, with average estate contents auction taking under 3 hours to complete from start to finish. Check out time for all winning bidders will begin at the completion of the auction. If you are running late and are not able to be there on time, please call Tim Chapulis (860) 459-0964 and we will try to accommodate you or accept phone bids. Terms of Auction: $100.00 Cash deposit for registration and bidder number, refundable upon return of bidder number or credited towards your purchase. Tim’s Inc. reserves the right to hold items until checks clear our bank. $50 charge for any returned checks. NO charge cards.

Please be considerate when parking. Do not block cars, mailboxes or driveways and make sure your tires aren’t parked on the lawn. Park on one side of the road only. Please bring your own boxes and packaging materials. Please leave large purses, bags, and backpacks in your vehicle.
